There are different interpretations about meditation and how should one perform this practice. But the most important is that everybody agree upon the major benefits one can get if they start practising this "technique".
So let us begin to explore "what is meditation". Meditation is when the person's state of mind reaches that point of nothingness.Can you imagine yourself thinking about NOTHING for a period of time ( minutes / hours ) depending on the individual who is performing it.

No one knows for absolute when meditation officially started. There are multiple references across different cultures and religions – including Judaism, Islam, and Christianity – to meditative-like practices, which all seem to have contributed to and inform the practice known widely today.What is sure is that it has been existing for decades.
Different religious organisations use this practice to implement it with their beliefs and let their followers to perform it in different ways such as prayers, mantras, connections & other various ways.
The list of benefits when one practice meditation in their everyday life are many. I will be mentioning a few here so you could consider if this might help you as well.
I want to start with the most common issue for every one STRESS.. If I had to meet a person and would tell me that never in their life experienced stress i would give that sceptical look for sure.
Meditation helps with STRESS and that is a fact. Nowadays even some physicians would recommend it to their patients along with their professional advises.
Another proven benefit of meditation is that one can boost their IMMUNE SYSTEM.Your immune system is one of the most critical, and most fascinating, aspects of the mind-body connection. Since your immune system responds to both negative and positive thoughts, meditation creates a positive mental environment for the immune system to flourish as it boosts our antibodies that help fight different kinds of illnesses.
Having said that I will continue mentioning different issues where meditation can be quite helpful-
On a physical level, meditation:
Lowers high blood pressure
Lowers the levels of blood lactate, reducing anxiety attacks
Increases serotonin production that improves mood and behaviour
Increases the energy level, as you gain an inner source of energy
Decreases tension-related pain, such as, tension headaches, ulcers, insomnia, muscle and joint problems
Meditation and Spirituality
